ABU DHABI: Etihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE and official sponsor of the Formula 1™ Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix has collaborated with Formula 1™ racing legend Damon Hill to produce 360-degree videos of Yas Marina Circuit. In these unique videos, Damon Hill gives racing enthusiasts the opportunity to view the five spectator grandstands at Yas Marina Circuit – Main, North, West, South and the Marina.
Damon Hill, the 1996 World Champion, counts more than 22 victories in his list of achievements. He commentates on the highlights of the view from each grandstand. The series of videos has been launched by Etihad Airways on the airline’s YouTube channel to engage with fans ahead of this year’s final race of the season.
After watching the videos, fans can win one of ten tickets to the Formula 1™ Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in 2021 by visiting etihad.com/F12020 and voting for their favourite grandstand.

Along with the launch of the video, Damon Hill, shared his thoughts on Abu Dhabi, the circuit and racing experience. He said: “As fans can’t be at the circuit this year, these 360 videos will help fans to immerse themselves into the action of the Formula 1™ Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
“Yas Marina Circuit is quite unique in that it’s a purpose-built circuit, it’s also a purpose-built venue so it’s got a marina and is surrounded by fantastic hotels. It comes alive when the Grand Prix is on with lightshows, and there’s a fantastic vibe at the circuit. It’s also a part of Abu Dhabi which is supported by lots of other activities and there’s plenty to do. It’s a great place for a holiday and a great place to go for a Grand Prix.
