FUJAIRAH: The 1st Master Chef competition 2021, which took place at the Tennis & Country Club Fujairah on August 19th, has closed successfully with 20 participants from different nationalities and age groups. Many Emirati entrepreneurs showed excitement in being a part of this event. It was a one-day event, and the competition was categorized into two groups: professional and passionate.
Bisma Umer (25), Aisha Ali Mohammed (40), and Huda Muhammad (21) were declared as the competition winners for their creative and delicious food work. 1st runners-up were Denise Josiah (51), Sougah Alkendi (16), Fatma Kindi (13), and Meera Almulla (14). The title of 2nd runners-up went to Brandon Holt (42), Aysha Moutaz (16), Sarah Rashed Ali (32), and Erum Shafqat Ali (27). The competition was judged by our expert chefs; Vinod and Awadh alongside senior sales & marketing head; Hania Reggi who was in-charge of the event.
The participants belonged to different age groups and nations. It was interesting to see the younger generation (aged 14-18) actively taking part in the contest and exhibiting their skills in any form. The participants were rewarded with memberships and other facilities by the club for further motivation and encouragement.
On this occasion, Mr. Salah, General Manager of Tennis & Country Club Fujairah, expressed his gratitude and pride over participants’ enthusiasm to engage in creative activities. The participants expressed their desire of another Master Chef competition as it was successful in creating an environment that is stimulating and motivational.
The event was organized to promote healthy eating habits which is also a form of sport to achieve a healthy lifestyle. Also, to bring different communities together under one roof to create a sense of hospitality and provide opportunities to people with different kinds of creative talent.
