KARACHI: The main objective and ambition of women empowerment organization, Join Hands with N & H is to fortify and effectively propagate women’s interests in Pakistan by raising awareness regarding integral women’s rights which range from mandatory education to fixed allocation of opportunities in professional services for the female community. Likewise, join hands put enormous emphasis on the agenda of women’s self-dependency and therefore it provides every individual woman with likely needed financial and psychological support along with a platform that enables them to work on their welfare, long-term future plans, and fulfill their lifelong aspirations.
on 29th September 2021, Join Hands with N&H laid the foundations of the First-ever Women Business Award Ceremony 2021 to pay homage to all the women of Pakistan who are working; devotedly, sincerely, and actively towards the betterment of Pakistan, reinvigoration of women status, and extermination of gender stereotypes from the society which are pessimistically influencing the developmental process of Pakistan. Correspondingly this event was gracefully blessed with the presence of a significant number of prestigious and eminent personalities like DIG Khadim H. Rind, Mirza Ikhtair Baig (Consul General of Yemen & Chairman Baig Group), Mr. Kuakab Iqbal chairman consumer associations of Pakistan,Mr. Shakeel Dhingra, Mr. Hanif Gohar (Chairman Gohar Group of Companies), Mr. Javeed Iqbal (Managing Director), Mr. Shahzad Shamshad (Head of Research & Development Education Sector) and many more.
The event was conducted smoothly and systematically at Marriott Hotel under the supervision of Nighat Mehmood (Founder of Join Hands) and Hira Anis (Co-founder of Join Hands) who worked tirelessly day and night to ensure that the ceremony was an auspicious and memorable one. To hold in high esteem, the women who are working under Join hands, awards were distributed for multiple categories like Supermoms, Handcrafting, Professional chef, Fashion designing, Women of the year and etc. Some of the notable recipients of the award were; Saima mirza , Shumaila khan(Fashion Designing), Anam Imran (Struggler women of the year), Nafeesa Jiwaanji (Handcrafting), Musarat Jabeen (Handcrafting), Meher J. Mirza (Corporate Sector), Kiran Chishti (Media industry), Shagufta (Professional Chef), Alishba Motiwala (Home Chef), Zainab (Home Chef) and Tahira Atique (Home Chef).
The successful advent of this award ceremony is entirely attributed to Nighat Mehmood, Hira Anis, and all the members of join hands with N&H who worked with amalgamation and unity on the sole objective of demonstrating that women can stand side by side with Men and can contribute towards welfare and growth of Pakistan as Quaid E Azam once said; “No nation can ever be worthy of its existence that cannot take its women along with the men”.
