KARACHI: The soft launch and press briefing of Pakistan Business Investment and Franchise Forum (PakBIFF) 2018: the investment road show was held today in a local hotel in Karachi. The road show is scheduled on February 27, 2018 and is being organized by Solutions Inc in collaboration with Sindh Board of Investment, Government of Sindh.
Speaking on the occasion, Kamran Saeed, CEO, Solutions Inc said that the first of its kind road show is planned to promote investment opportunities in Sindh and the country at large. The event will be a unique match making activity for investees who require investments for their ideas, projects and companies with local/international investors. He said that the companies from varied sectors such as start ups, software houses, e- commerce, logistics, asset management, real estate, food, special economic zones, healthcare, stocks and securities, IT and franchisors are participating in the show.
Kamran Saeed also informed the gathering that more than 150 (and counting) investors have registered so far for the event that include capital investors, corporate investors, high net worth investors, retail investors, franchisees and international investors from US, Canada, UK and UAE who will be connected through video conferencing.
Chief Guest of the occasion Chairperson Sindh Board of Investment, Ms. Naheed Memon lauded the efforts of the organizers and said that such events are vital to promote a climate of investment in the province and the country. The honorable chairperson said that as the security situation of the province and the country has shown signs of improvement, coupled with positive macroeconomic indicators, there has been a lot of interest for foreign investments in the country.
