KARACHI/DUBAI: Memon Ladies Lounge was founded by Erum Usman along with Hamna Usman in November 2018. Those determined mother daughter, intent to create non-judgemental platform specifically for Memon cumunity ladies. They wanted to provide talented ladies opportunity to share their talents, skills and become stronger and more confident, especially in controlling one’s life and claiming one’s rights. During three years this platform connected 15 thousand Memon ladies globally. What a lead to empower such a big number of skillfull cumunity ladies.
“MLL Entrepreneurs’ Market” was held on On October 9, 2021, at Cutchi Memon Community Centre Bahadurabad, by Memon Ladies Lounge, specially organised to help memon ladies to showcase their handmade, homebased, signature work.
Event was fully booked and well organized. Lots of amazing creative ladies, showcased their work and got satisfactory business. Exhibitors were clothing brands, shoes, jewelry, makeup, natural products, home essentials, and food. The most of exhbitors exhibit for the first time.
The event was graced by well known names of pharmacy, bakers and chefs. Guests of honor were Chef Zarnak Sidhwa, Chef Farah Mohammad, Chef Asad Latif, Yasmeen Hashmani, Zohra Habib, Yasmeen Arif, Sabra Tufail, Arshila Hussain, Haleema Usman, Rehana Gabrani, and Dr. Rubina Kodvavi.
The event was powered by Organico and co-sponsored by Pakola Pakistan, Hashmani group of hospitals, Surmawala, Selani foods and spices, and other local brands. Event was immense success and was fully crowded. I have witnessed ladies appreciating, enjoying, shoping, laughing.
I bought some silver jewellery, keychain for my car necklace of afghani style and I love what I bought in really economical rates.
