Be it Haqiqi or Majazi, the greatest power known to man is that of love. Through the known history of mankind, mystics, singers, poets and painters have all used the expression of love in their work. As humans, we all search for love throughout our lifetime. Many religious teachings also emphasize on the importance of love. However, people do not understand the simplicity associated with unconditional love… it adds peace to their everyday lives which is a huge blessing on its own!

To quote the great mystic poet Rumi:

“In your light I learn how to love. In your beauty, how to make poems. You dance inside my chest where no-one sees you, but sometime I do, and that sight becomes this ART”.

Pyaar Kahani is a humble effort of bringing together the leading artists of Pakistan to walk us through the world of love – the way they perceive it. Says Amir Mirza.

The exhibition is scheduled to run for four days at ARTCITI and will conclude on 22nd of November 2021. It is a must-see for all art lovers, especially for those interested in viewing the artwork of leading artists Ali Abbas | Ali Azmat | A. S. Rind | Farrukh Shahab | Khalid Khan – KAAY | Mughees Riaz | Sabir Nazar | Tanweer Farooqi, the paintings will leave a lasting impression. To some it would appear to be a déjà vu while others would find it an absorbing experience.
