Under the patronage and presence of His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence in the United Arab Emirates, the Visa Center in Karachi has been inaugurated on Saturday 27/11/2021, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Salem Al Khaddeim Al Dhanhani, Consul General of the United Arab Emirates in Karachi, and His Excellency Imran Ismail, Governor of Sindh Province, His Excellency Nasir Hussain Shah, Regional Minister of the Government of Sindh Province, Counselor at Consulate Mr. Bakheet Atiq Al Rumaithi, and Director of the Visa Center, Mrs. Maryam Al-Azizi. and members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Karachi, a numbers of senior officials of the Sindh provincial government, Pakistani businessmen, and various Pakistani media.
His Excellency Dr Salem Al Khaddeim Al Dhanhani, Consul General of the UAE in Karachi, emphasized during his speech, the strong historical relations between the UAE and Pakistan, which were initiated by the late Sheikh Zayed, and in this regard, he assured that visa center which is consider as one of the largest centers in Asia, it will provide distinguished consular services, according to international standards and the standards of the UAE, which comes within the framework of providing all administrative services related to improving the level of customer service, and issuing visas to facilitate the entry of Pakistanis to the UAE through the electronic gates at the ports.
During his speech on this occasion, His Excellency, the Governor of Sindh, Imran Ismail, expressed his thanks and appreciation the efforts made by the government of the United Arab Emirates to develop bilateral relations between the two countries. And also praised the facilities that the center will be providing for the Pakistanis willing to entry the UAE.
Also the presence praised the center’s system for issuing visas, which will be consider as one of the most efficient systems used with international standards, leading to shortens the time for submitting the application and issuing the visa.
