10th July- Eid festival made it impossible for Sonakshi to connect with any NGO nearby but with a heart of gold like hers, she decided at 1 am that these obstacles cannot stop her from doing good. She started this journey with her husband shashank tayal and little daughter vasvi tayal, making aloo puri at home with the help of Tanya ( maid )for all the needy people out there. Apart from her life as an influencer, the back of her heart has always been wanting to support the underprivileged. Her husband’s dear friend, Salim Khan left his corporate life so that no one should sleep hungry. His organization- Little India Foundation which is based out of Delhi, inspired Sonakshi and her husband to continue this initiative of donating meals. Now, proudly they are representing the Little India Foundation family here in Dubai.

Who are we?
Little India Foundation was started back in India by Salim Khan and his mother. They dedicated their full time to feeding the needy and then today many other families, friends and volunteers stand together to support this cause. They run 365 days free meal program for kids and underprivileged communities. Millions of people were fed during the pandemic attack in India under the supervision of Honorable Prime Minister, Narendra Modi Ji. No one’s flaunting lifestyle on Facebook anymore. Social media has emerged as the saviour to many in the current pandemic.

On the above note, sonakshi said that I am here proudly announcing my new venture with Little India Foundation as UAE President, and I look forward to achieving my and the foundation’s goals together to create a new success story spreading voice support and happiness.
