Every organization should have a digital presence. Mrs. Shama Rashid, Founder, Karachi Women Entrepreneurs (KWE) and leader of women’s entrepreneur club. She is also a wife, mother, cook and the assured leader of KWE, which was founded in 2021. Her mission is to connect, encourage, inspire and educate women who are Mommypreneurs, Connect Group Leaders, Women’s Ministry Leaders, Solopreneurs and Business Owners who are passionate about serving others and living a life that honours and serves God.
Shama believes that when women band together and encourage one another, they have tremendous power. It’s essential that we stay connected, raising each other up in prayer, support and encouragement – no matter where we are in our lives, businesses, or seasons
Shama Rashid founded the KWE Group on September 7, 2021. This organisation was established in Lal Qila. This is a sisterhood network for visionaries, boundary breakers, and passion igniters who have been called and anointed to shine in their individuality. Founded to foster a strong community of women who are passionate about making a difference in their community through their faith-based company. This group provided them with a venue to display their skills/services. This group envisions women rising to full leadership and potential, following their God-given calling with clarity and conviction. Creating a giving community, sisterhood support, and meaningful friendships. We are here to support one another through collaborations and partnerships. Giving God full credit for whatever we accomplish, reaching out and fearlessly sharing our faith with others as salt and light in this world. This group had worked on numerous uproarious business ventures for women in order to empower them. This group has also done many workshops and master classes, as well as collaborated with many educational institutions/universities such as IBA and Sindh madrassa tul Islam, business awareness sessions, women’s day celebration, and many cooking competitions for women. This group helps women to work and stand on their own two feet, as well as showcase their talents and abilities.
KWE group had completed its one-year voyage with tremendous success and honour. This group worked hard to empower women. This group had 15 or more large-scale events with exceptional and successful outcomes throughout the journey. Her team consists of Hira Danish, Sadaf Jan, Khadija Monis, and Fariha Amzat. These members also assisted in every event and contributed to KWE’s success. KWE is a group for women in Karachi that has 6000 members and 200 group members that have a lot of optimism and trust. This group is growing day by day, thanks to the founder’s perseverance and managerial skills. Now we have one of the top groups in our organization and this is flourishing day by day. This organization offers leadership training, coaching, and mentoring programs to help female entrepreneurs and develop women in the workplace.
The group’s founder celebrated and organised an event at a Luxury Beach Hotel to commemorate the group’s one-year anniversary. This event held on September 10, 2022. Their Chief Guest was Madam Durre shahwar Nisar, their guest of honor was Madam Farah Muhammad, their media partner Biz Today International was Rafiq Vayani, and their images were courtesy of Javed Iqbal. The award ceremony was held at this event, and the awards were given to the most active and best members of this group, as well as gifts to all attendees. The gifts were provided by Nelson, Pure and Best Himalayan Salts, GSO and National Foods Limited, and home-based entrepreneurs Shamsa Farooq, Dr Javeria Shahzad, Khatija Monis, and Fariha Azmat. Followed by Hi Tea in a nice beach hotel, which the members thoroughly enjoyed. Shama Rashid and her team members organised this wonderful gathering to commemorate KWE’s first anniversary.
