Cannes Lions ‘See it – Be it’ program for Career-Acceleration comes to Pakistan

KARACHI: Pakistan Advertising Association and Pakistan Advertisers Society, in association with Synergy Dentsu are organizing a global career-acceleration program for women, ‘See It Be It’ on March 17.

The programme ‘See It Be It’ was launched by Cannes Lions – the world’s largest advertising festival, now in its 64th year, five year ago to address the issue of under-representation of women at Creative Leadership levels in the advertising industry. Last year, the Cannes Lions Festival attracted more than 16,000 attendees from 90 plus countries.

With the simple message; When the women can ‘See it’, they will be driven to ‘Be it’, the programme was launched in Pakistan being inspired by the performance of Pakistani girls who are outshining the boys in academics, but when it comes to career-progression their potential remains unrealized. This program aims to motivate women, by engaging their role models and giving them the opportunities for having real-conversations and presenting solutions by numerous high-achievers speaking at the event.

The speakers are an array of successful professionals from the field, working in London, USA, Singapore, Germany, Dubai and Pakistan. These successful icons fill the day with; Inspiration, motivation, lessons in life and career, while mentoring and networking for the participants. Many of the speakers will travel across continents to enrich this event and creating some exciting opportunities for anyone, aspiring to excel in the creative and marketing industry. The Crown-jewel of the ‘See it – Be it’ programme is the One-to-One Mentoring sessions, offered to select Mentees on 18th of March 2018. There are only 30 spots available for mentoring, where the participants will be finalized by the Cannes Lions team.
