The Personality Award was organized by the All Pakistan Memon Federation, Special President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alawi said that the Memon community donated generously at the time of the creation of Pakistan. Memon community is our best nation and they are our superheroes. We are all impressed with their work and the Memon community is playing a great role in the construction and development of Pakistan. Memons have the ability to unite all communities of Pakistan. Initially parsi community has hold in Karachi, and later memon community to the reigns.
Speaking on the auspicious occasion, President of All Pakistan Memon Federation, Shabbir Haroon, said that the Memon Personality Awards will be given to those who have performed well in their respective fields. Awards are not only the most effective source of encouragement, but it also motivate people to show better and improved performance. The Personality Award will realize that their work is being appreciated and their hard work is appreciated. Services are is very important because the award not only increases self -esteem but also increases production capacity. Award will give them feelings that their work is valued and appreciated.
He said that under the aegis of APMF, and other different organizations and jamaats, more than 30 hospitals and dozens of clinics are running giving free service to the mankind. In addition, more than 50 community halls and more than 40 schools have been serving people without discrimination and barrier of race and language.
All Pakistan Memon Federation is giving these awards in Pakistan, but we will extend the horizon to the international community, because Memons are fund in every part of the world.
The renowned dignitaries who were given award included Sir Adam G Haji Dawood, Iqbal Haji Abdul Shakoor, Aamir Kothawal, Ibrahim Qasim Abdul Ghafoor Bila, Razzaq Dawood, Aqeel Karim Dedi, Zubair Sattar, Maqsood Ismail, Siraj Qasim, Mohammad Ali Taba and Qadir Jafar.
