DUBAI, United Arab Emirates: Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences held an introductory meeting with the fifth batch of the Master of Innovative Education program, which is offered by the Foundation in cooperation with the United Arab Emirates University. The meeting was held in Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Center for Giftedness and Innovation.
In the meeting, Dr. Khalifa Al Suwaidi, Secretary-General of Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences outlined the program’s objectives and how its outcomes will contribute to the enhancement of educational performance and the modernization of teaching methodologies.
In his remarks following the meeting, His Excellency stated: “We are delighted to meet the fifth batch of the Master of Innovative Education program. This program’s success is evident through its 40 previous graduates who have made significant strides in their educational careers. Hamdan Foundation is highly committed to empowering program participants. Our primary goal is to expand their knowledge and cultivate an innovation-centric culture, thereby enhancing the educational landscape with highly qualified professionals capable of adapting to the ever-evolving educational landscape.”
His Excellency stressed that this unique initiative provides an exceptional opportunity for school leaders, teachers, and educators to realize their aspirations and attain academic excellence in their professional journeys. This, in turn, makes a substantial contribution to elevating the quality of education in alignment with the visions of our visionary leadership and the broader society.
Dr. Khalifa Al Suwaidi commended the partnership with the United Arab Emirates University for its significant role in supporting academic initiatives and efforts to advance education. He extended warm congratulations to the fifth batch of the Master of Innovative Education program, expressing his sincere wishes for their academic and professional success.
On his part, Dr. Ahmed Al Kaabi, Assistant Professor at the College of Education, United Arab Emirates University, presented a comprehensive overview of the Master’s in Innovative Education program, detailing its objectives, scope, and curriculum.
He underscored the program’s pivotal role in raising the bar for educational performance and excellence. The Masters program, conducted entirely in Arabic, encompasses two distinct tracks. The first track focuses on innovative teaching methods tailored to the needs of exceptional educators, while the second centers on innovative school leadership, designed specifically for outstanding school administrators. Dr. Al Kaabi also highlighted that the program spans a duration of 18 months and is thoughtfully scheduled on weekends, allowing participants to balance their professional commitments. Classes take place at Hamdan Center for Giftedness and Innovation in Dubai.
It’s worth noting that the Master’s in Innovative Education program is the result of a collaboration between Hamdan bin Rashid Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences and the United Arab Emirates University. The program was initiated in 2018, with the foundation offering 10 scholarships in each cohort.
