DUBAI/KARACHI: In a grand ceremony held at the Governor House, Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia in Karachi, H. E. Dr. June Kuncoro Hadiningrat, was awarded honorary degree from Indus University and gold medals, in a Special Convocation presided by the Governor of Sindh, H.E. Kamran Khan Tessori.
Chancellor of Indus University, Mr. Khalid Amin presented the honorary degree in recognition of their exceptional contributions to fostering diplomatic relations, cultural exchange, and economic cooperation between their respective countries and Pakistan. Dr. Hadiningrat’s efforts have significantly strengthened the bond between Indonesia and Pakistan, highlighting the importance of continued collaboration in trade, education, and cultural exchange.
Dr. June Kuncoro Hadiningrat expressed his profound gratitude for the honour, reaffirming his commitment to furthering the partnership between Indonesia and Pakistan. He emphasized the pivotal role of cooperation in ensuring the prosperity of both nations. Governor Tessori, in his address, reiterated his dedication to consulting all stakeholders in the province to promote inclusivity and prosperity. He also commended other notable recipients, including the Consul Generals of the UAE and Oman, for their longstanding and unparalleled friendships with Pakistan.
The convocation also celebrated the contributions of various leaders and community figures, including Muhammad Akhtar Tessori of the Tessori Group, Maulana Bashir Farooqui of Saylani Trust, and Zafar Abbas of JDC IT Expert. Gold medals were awarded to several Consul Generals, Vice Chancellors, and business community members, notably Saad ur Rehman, known as Ducky Bhai, a renowned YouTuber with 7 million subscribers. This event underscored the deep-rooted friendship and cooperative spirit between Pakistan and the honoured individuals, emphasizing the significance of continued partnership and mutual appreciation.
