KARACHI: Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi celebrated the 77th Independence Day with great fervor and enthusiasm. The event featured impressive performances by local bands including AUJ, SOK, Guman, and ACMA Band, attracting a large number of citizens to the venue.
President Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi, Muhammad Ahmed Shah, led the celebrations by hoisting the national flag and cutting the Independence Day cake. The festival began with a mesmerizing instrumental performance by the Arts Council Music Faculty.Face Painting attracted the children.
Students from the Patient Care Rehab Welfare Society performed traditional dances, while the Arts Council Dance Academy students showcased the cultural heritage of all provinces, earning widespread applause.
The celebrations also included a drum circle where young attendees danced with enthusiasm, along with various interactive activities like an open mic session, AI workshop, E-gaming, and live painting.
