DUBAI/KARACHI: “The First Blast” was the launch event of Global Youth Wing Pakistan Chapter, where the new leadership team was introduced including the youngest president World Memon Organization (WMO) has ever had, Salman Iqbal.
The event was aimed at youth to provide them with an opportunity to gain insights and network with like-minded people. There couldn’t be an option better than Salman Iqbal to set a ripple through the participants.
Having Umair Jaliawala to moderate the session with Salman Iqbal not only set the wheels in motion, but led to an interesting conversation that eventually led to a productive interaction with the audience.
Natalia Gul Jilani Baghdadi ‘s comic element added the kick that made for a well-rounded event!!
Considering that this was an entirely sponsored and volunteer-driven event, the turnover was remarkable. From the build-up to the list of influential guests, to the impactful closure, it was a success through and through. Not only did it make for a great first event, but it has also set a bar for the events to follow through.
With the promise of a variety of events aimed at youth empowerment in the future, Jawad Choksi, the GYW Chair Pakistan, brought the evening to a full circle.
