DEWA Women’s Committee organises a Health and Wellbeing Day

DUBAI: Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) Women’s Committee organised a Health and Wellbeing Day to raise awareness among female employees on the importance of physical and mental health and the need to achieve a balance between their professional and personal lives. Through a series of workshops and educational lectures, over 100 female employees gained insights on managing stress and alleviating anxiety, as well as how to deal with competing priorities in a rapidly changing world.

The DEWA women’s sport team also shared their success stories at various tournaments, highlighting the importance of regular exercise and a healthy lifestyle in promoting positivity, happiness and vitality.

“Under the directives and support of DEWA’s top management, DEWA Women’s Committee organises activities and events that foster success and personal growth, empowering female employees to excel in both their professional and personal roles. These initiatives aim to boost happiness and job satisfaction, enhance DEWA’s positive work environment and global leadership, and contribute to building cohesive families and a resilient society capable of achieving sustained success and advancing development and prosperity,” said Fatima Al Jokar, Chairperson of the Women’s Committee at DEWA.
