DUBAI: JLT, Dubai’s most soulful neighbourhood has showcased its brand-new Skate Park. Featuring the gnarliest pipes and ramps, the park is alive with colour thanks to the awesome street-style abstract paintings designed by renowned artist, Madeline Butcher.
The park will be open to everyone of all ages, offering exciting activities for all to enjoy.
As the latest addition to JLT’s already vibrant offerings and activities, the Skate Park enhances the area’s dynamic atmosphere. Newley designed using the shapes that form the JLT logo, it seamlessly embodies the spirit of community, culture, and fun that encapsulates JLT.
Artist Madeleine Butcher has curated an abstract design titled Sidewalk Surfers, reflecting JLT as the most energetic and dynamic community in Dubai. Resonating with 2025’s art trends, the piece emphasizes individuality, movement, and nature-inspired aesthetics, making it a relevant and engaging choice for JLT’s diverse audience. The design embodies fluid, playful motion, balance, and improvisation, capturing the essence of skate culture.
The park is open now and ready for skating novices and experts to come together and surf, slide and stick their tricks, open from 8am to 10pm, it will be the new destination for skate enthusiasts.
