SINGAPORE: The first edition of the Asia-Pacific Dermatology and Aesthetic Conference & Exhibition (Asia Derma) was launched in Singapore in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Omar Abdulla Balfaqeeh, UAE Ambassador to Singapore and organized by INDEX Conferences & Exhibitions – a member of INDEX Holding, with the participation of more than 120 brands, 55 specialized pavilions, 52 speakers and more than 500 physicians.
Prof. Fatimah Binte Abdul Lateef, Member of Parliament, Republic of Singapore, inaugurated the opening ceremony of the conference and exhibition by cutting the ribbon, accompanied by His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Omar Abdulla Balfaqeeh, UAE Ambassador to Singapore, the South Korean Ambassador, Dr. Abdul Salam Al Madani, Executive Chairman of Asia Derma and Chairman of INDEX Holding, and a number of representatives from government sectors, educational institutions, experts, doctors and local and foreign delegations. This was followed by a tour in the exhibition accompanying the conference, where the latest developments and equipment in the field of dermatology and aesthetic industry were showcased.
Commenting on this occasion, His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Omar Abdulla Balfaqeeh, UAE Ambassador to Singapore, said: “I am very proud to see a UAE company such as INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions – a member of INDEX Holding organizing such a unique event in Singapore, this is a true honor for our country- the United Arab Emirates.” Prof. Fatimah Binte Abdul Lateef, Member of Parliament, Republic of Singapore, also praised the efforts of INDEX for organizing such a world-class event.
