KARACHI: : More than 105 people donated blood at the blood donation camp organised by Okhai Memon Jamat (OMJ) and Okhai Memon Youth Services (OMYS) in cooperation with Hussaini Blood Bank at the Okhai Memon Jamat Bus Stop in Gulzar Hijri, Karachi
Shakil Gatta President OMJ, Rasheed Ganatra, President OMYS and others members also graced the camp.
Okhai Memon Jamat was formed in 1880 when a number of families came here and resided in Kharadar area of Karachi near the port. This organization was registered under the societies Act XXI of 1860.
The `Youth Services` was born out of the desire to locate, unite and explore the potentialities of the young educated people of the community, to their more, mental and cultural developments and putting these organized talents to constructiveness so that, through educational and other social welfare activities, the reforms could be brought about.
